Metro Baseball Academy teaches foundational skills, using the knowledge and passion gained through extensive playing and coaching experience. The goal is to enhance each individual’s skills, knowledge and confidence on the baseball diamond through fundamentals, discipline and respect for the game. We also aim to improve athletic development and baseball specific movements and mechanics through a vast number of exercises that are both easy to comprehend and effective when performed with quality repetition.
Our club team(s) provide young players with various backgrounds an opportunity to play baseball on a full-sized diamond in a competitive environment. They will learn skills and concepts that are considered new at this level, such as base running, pick-off plays and various forms of pitching. Good sportsmanship and the ability to be good teammates and representatives of our community are traits we take pride in and will be major components of our program’s fabric.
Teams will be formed by invite only. Selection is based on an athlete’s coachability, their baseball skill set and experience, as well as their attitude. Metro Baseball Academy values a hard work ethic, respectability, teamwork and resilience.
