Baseball – Saturday Skills Clinics

Due to Covid-19 restrictions and Oregon State’s Stay-At-Home Order, Metro Baseball Academy will not be hosting skills sessions this summer. Until Multnomah County enters Phase 1 of reopening, Metro Courts can only be open for day camp usage. Hopefully, skills classes and facility rentals will be able to resume by mid to late summer.

Metro Baseball Academy teaches foundational skills, using the knowledge and passion gained through extensive playing and coaching experience. The goal is to enhance each individual’s skills, knowledge and confidence on the baseball diamond through fundamentals, discipline and respect for the game. We also aim to improve athletic development and baseball specific movements and mechanics through a vast number of exercises that are both easy to comprehend and effective when performed with quality repetition.

These fall clinics will focus on individual technical skills. Sessions will be fun and engaging with the goal of growing the love of the sport with the player.

Coach Brian Hoffert, director of Metro Baseball Academy, will lead these sessions with the support of assistants.

Clinics take place Saturday afternoons 3pm-5pm
September 14, 21, 28 | October 26 | November 2, 16, 23 | December 14
