Volleyball – 2020 Summer Camps

‘The Basics’ Volleyball Camp
(5th-7th Grade)
Metro Courts, Inc. basic volleyball camp instruction will focus on the fundamentals of passing, setting, hitting and serving. Our instructors modify common drills in order to teach movement patterns to allow for game-play execution. As an organization, we lead by example and strive to enhance the values of teamwork, responsibility and self-discipline into (y)our athletes. 
Note: Each day, athletes should bring a snack and a water bottle.

June 15-18 | July 6-9 | August 10-13

‘Intermediate’ Volleyball Camp
(6th-8th Grade)
Metro Courts, Inc. Intermediate Volleyball Camp is designed for the experienced middle school athlete who has played at least one year of club volleyball. Instruction focuses on the fundamentals of passing, setting, hitting and serving. In addition, defensive drills, court positioning and attack options are incorporated into the curriculum to build deeper knowledge of position-specific skills. Communication, routines, responsibilities, effort and decision-making are also emphasized. As an organization, we lead by example and strive to enhance the values of teamwork, responsibility and self-discipline into (y)our athletes.  
Note: Each day, athletes should bring a snack and a water bottle.

Metro Volleyball Academy Player Camp
(8th-10th Grade)

This camp is open to any of Metro Volleyball Academy’s 8-10th graders! You all know what to bring to the court and what is expected from the coaches! REMEMBER that camp sessions are limited to 10 players, so text a teammate and invite them to join you!
Note: Each day, athletes should bring a snack and a water bottle.

‘Advanced’ Volleyball Camp
(9th-12th Grade)
Metro Courts, Inc. Advanced Volleyball Camp is designed for the experienced high school athlete, who has a general background knowledge in all aspects of the game. Instruction focuses on the fundamentals of passing, setting, hitting and serving. In addition, defensive drills, court positioning and attack options are incorporated into the curriculum to build deeper knowledge of position-specific skills. Communication, routines, responsibilities, effort and decision-making are also emphasized. As an organization, we lead by example and strive to enhance the values of teamwork, responsibility and self-discipline into (y)our athletes.
